This will allow you to learn basic competency in our foundational movements, including: proper form, technique, full range of motion, consistency and intensity. Everything we do at Bodyshop CrossFit focuses on quality of instruction, safety, for you and others around you; and workout effectiveness.
The Foundation Program includes: squat, front squat, overhead squat, shoulder press, push press, push jerk, thrusters, deadlifts, sumo deadlift high pulls, kettlebell swings, cleans, snatches, rowing, wall balls, box jumps and so much more.
Foundation Program Options
10 Personal Foundation Sessions – these are one-on-one sessions, 1-hour long. They will include a warm up, technique focus and a workout. You and your trainer set the dates and time. The 10 Personal Foundation Sessions must be scheduled within the span of two (2) months.
5 Fast Track Sessions – these are one-on-one sessions, 1-hour long. They include skill training only. Eligible participants MUST be healthy and active, and currently training regularly. Eligibility for fast track is determined by a Bodyshop CrossFit coach. You and your trainer set the dates and time. The 5 Fast Track Sessions must be scheduled within the span of three (3) weeks.
Test-Out – This is a 1-hour test based on the 10 foundation sessions. The test is either classified as a pass or a fail. You must have CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting experience to challenge this test. For example, be able to complete a successful snatch and/or clean & jerks. A pass will graduate you to group classes.
CrossFit Group Classes
This is where the real fun begins. You’ll join our family of great individuals; all working hard at getting fitter, stronger and healthier. There is a real sense of community, camaraderie, support, encouragement and some friendly competition. Each class is comprised of a warm up, technique and/or strength training and a WOD (Workout of the day).
